Megabonk’s Items index includes a handful of run-defining pickups—Anvil is one of the most impactful because it improves every future weapon level you take after acquiring it. The extra stat line compounds over time, so the earlier you secure Anvil, the stronger your endgame scaling tends to be.

🔓 How to Unlock Anvil

Requirement: Complete 3 Challenges. This permanently adds Anvil to your item pool for future runs.

Focus on easy early-game Challenges to hit the count quickly.
Once unlocked, prioritize Anvil early in a run to maximize the number of upgrades it affects.

🧪 How Anvil Works (Practical)

Each time you level a weapon, instead of getting the usual number of stat lines, you’ll see one extra.
This applies to subsequent upgrades after pickup; it doesn’t retroactively alter past upgrades.
Synergizes with weapons that love extra lines like projectile count, size, or damage.
