Hidden Forest Boss - Character Unlock Challenge
Bush is a unique hidden boss that doesn't appear naturally. You must find and interact with a special object to trigger the encounter.
Bush can appear in any Forest tier (1, 2, or 3). Thoroughly explore dense forest areas and hidden clearings while progressing through your run.
When you get close to the hidden boss location, you'll see an interaction prompt that says "Sus Bush" instead of the normal bush indicator.
Before interacting, ensure you have:
Press the interact key (E) to shake the Sus Bush. Bush will emerge and the boss fight begins in the surrounding area. Get ready for explosive combat!
Requirement: Get Precision Tome to Level 10
You MUST have the Sniper Rifle weapon unlocked before you can unlock Bush as a character. This is Bush's starting weapon.
After unlocking the Sniper Rifle through Precision Tome, go to Main Menu â Unlocks and purchase it with 2 Silver coins.
Pattern: Long-range precision shots that deal heavy damage. Bush positions himself at distance and fires accurately.
Counter: Constant lateral movement. Don't move in straight lines toward or away from Bush. Zigzag pattern works best.
Pattern: Bush's Bullseye passive marks random enemies with crosshairs. When these marked enemies are shot, they explode and can damage you and nearby enemies.
Counter: Keep medium distance - close enough to deal damage, far enough to avoid explosion radius. Watch for crosshair marks on enemies before explosions trigger.
Pattern: Bush moves to maintain optimal sniping distance and find better positioning throughout the fight.
Counter: Use this window to close distance or heal. Bush is vulnerable during repositioning.
Too close = explosive damage from Bullseye marks. Too far = hard to hit Bush. Find the sweet spot at medium range where you can attack while dodging sniper shots.
With 12,500 HP, Bush takes time to defeat. Focus on not dying rather than rushing damage. Lifesteal and HP regeneration are very valuable.
Ranged weapons (Firestaff, Katana, Revolver) are safer than melee. You can maintain the optimal distance while dealing consistent damage.
Bush's Bullseye passive marks enemies with crosshairs. When you shoot these marked enemies, they explode. Be careful not to stand too close to marked enemies!
đ¯ Sniper Rifle - Long-range precision weapon with high damage per shot and manual aim requirement.
đĨ Bullseye - Bush's passive ability marks random enemies with crosshairs. When Bush shoots a marked enemy, it explodes and damages everything nearby. Additionally, Bullseye grants +0.5% Crit Damage per character level, making Bush increasingly powerful as you level up during runs.
Wait until you've collected good items and upgraded weapons before searching for Sus Bush. Don't attempt this fight in the first 5 minutes of a run.
Best choices: Fox (ranged Firestaff), Ninja (high damage + evasion), CL4NK (ranged Revolver). Avoid melee-focused characters as they struggle with Bush's kiting and explosion radius.
Before fighting, try to have: HP regeneration, Lifesteal, Movement Speed, and Armor. Defensive stats help survive the 12.5K HP grind.
Bush has a lot of HP but isn't overly aggressive. Take your time, focus on dodging, and chip away at his health. Patience wins this fight.
Bush is a rewarding hidden boss that tests your exploration skills and combat preparation. With proper build and strategy, the 12,500 HP boss is very manageable. The key is finding the Sus Bush location, having Sniper Rifle unlocked beforehand, and maintaining good positioning throughout the fight to avoid Bullseye explosions.

Bush is an A-tier character with high skill ceiling. The Sniper Rifle starting weapon combined with the Bullseye passive (which grants both explosive crowd control and scaling crit damage) make for unique and powerful gameplay.
