Apply Poison First
Cooldown, attack frequency, and Quantity create more poisoned targets for the passive to scale.

+1% Poison Damage per level with a radius that grows from 4 to 12

Amog now gains +1% Poison Damage per level, while the death-explosion radius grows from 4 to 12 by level 220.
Cooldown, attack frequency, and Quantity create more poisoned targets for the passive to scale.
Generic Damage is no longer the first fix: leveling already supplies Poison Damage every level.
Size remains useful for weapon coverage, but passive explosion radius already grows naturally over the run.
Poison Flask for DoT, Black Hole for grouping, Flamewalker for sustained coverage.

Throws toxic flasks that apply poison to enemies, dealing damage over time. Works best when enemies are clustered. See entry: database/weapons/poison-flask.
Creates a singularity that pulls enemies together, letting Poison Flask tag many targets at once. Entry: database/weapons/black-hole.
Leaves burning trails that damage foes standing in them—great sustained coverage that complements poison. Entry: database/weapons/flamewalker.

XP Tome speeds leveling. Luck Tome improves odds of higher-tier offers (level-ups, shrines, etc.). Cursed Tome increases enemy difficulty (quantity/HP/speed/strength)—it is not a direct damage multiplier.
Adds lifesteal on hit (at 100% chance you reliably heal 1 per hit; above 100% can heal more). Stack until sustain feels comfortable for poison play.
Increases attack speed/frequency so Poison Flask applies stacks faster—smoothest DPS gain once sustain is online.
Generic Damage still scales the full loadout, but Amog already gains +1% Poison Damage per level. Prioritize application rate and coverage first, then use Damage to scale non-poison weapons and bosses.
Quantity is the priority because more flasks apply poison to more targets. Size still helps weapon coverage, but Amog already gains passive explosion radius from 4 to 12 by level 220.

Grants additional poison-on-hit chance—excellent with Poison Flask to infect packs quickly.
Adds Attack Speed (site database icon provided). Faster throws = faster poison stacking.
Reflects incoming damage and grants a brief window of invulnerability—great emergency button.
+Damage per kill up to a cap—steady snowball once waves thicken.
Converts overheal and provides extra Lifesteal, reinforcing the sustain loop for poison builds.
Poison-themed picks that pair naturally with Amog’s plan; take them if offered alongside your core.
A safe curve that respects how tomes/items actually work.
Grab XP → Luck → Cursed to accelerate offers and scale difficulty for better rewards. Take Poison Flask as soon as it appears.
Add Black Hole for grouping. Start stacking Bloody Tome (Lifesteal) until sustain feels stable; pick up Battery if offered.
Take Cooldown to apply poison faster and add Damage to convert uptime into kills. Slot Flamewalker as the third weapon for constant coverage.
Consider Demonic Soul for per-kill damage scaling; Mirror as a safety layer. Keep stacking Bloody/Cooldown/Damage as offers allow.
Finish Quantity for application coverage, then add Size only when weapon coverage still needs help. Maintain grouping discipline—drop Black Hole, then spread poison through the packed wave.
Use these when core offers don’t show up.
| Role | Primary | Alternatives |
|---|---|---|
| Core DoT | Poison Flask | — (build identity) |
| Grouping | Black Hole | Tornado (lighter control) |
| Coverage | Flamewalker | Aura, Firestaff |
| Sustain | Bloody Tome (Lifesteal) | Chonkplate (extra lifesteal & overheal) |
| Speed | Cooldown Tome / Battery | Power Gloves, Thunder Mitts, Time Bracelet |
| Safety | Mirror | Aegis, Golden Shield |
Poison Flask anchors the build. Use Black Hole to group enemies so flasks tag many targets, and add Flamewalker for constant area damage. Browse: Weapon Database.
A common start is XP → Luck → Cursed (note: Cursed raises enemy difficulty). Then secure Cooldown and Quantity so poison reaches more targets consistently. Amog already gains +1% Poison Damage per level and its explosion radius grows from 4 to 12 by level 220, so raw Damage and extra Size are later picks. All tomes: Tomes Index.
Moldy Cheese (extra poison-on-hit), Battery (attack speed), Mirror (reflect + brief invulnerability), Demonic Soul (damage per kill), and Chonkplate (overheal + lifesteal). See Items Index.
