🎯 Weapon Overview
The Wireless Dagger fires smart daggers that automatically seek nearby enemies (in-game flavor: “Wireless tech goes crazy these days”). It trades raw per-hit power for reliable targeting and frequent hits, scaling well with projectile count, bounces, and general damage multipliers.
Identity: Auto-targeting ranged dagger with base damage 9; upgrade pool includes Damage, Duration (rare), Projectile Bounces, Projectile Count, and Projectile Speed.
🔓 How to Unlock
- During any run, pick Lightning Staff and level it to 15.
- Wireless Dagger becomes available in the Unlocks menu.
- Unlocking grants a +2 Silver reward.
Tips: Prioritize Lightning Staff upgrades and avoid picking many other weapons early so its upgrades appear more often. XP-focused choices help you reach Lv.15 quickly.
Tony McZoom Requirement: To unlock Tony McZoom, you must complete any 2 Challenges and purchase/unlock the Wireless Dagger. He then starts runs with this weapon.
⚙️ Mechanics & Upgrade Pool
Auto-Targeting
Daggers automatically seek and track targets—no manual aiming. This lets you focus on movement, dodging, and map control while still dealing consistent damage.
Base Numbers (at Level 1)
- Damage: 9
- Projectile Count: 1
- Projectile Bounces: 1
- Duration: 1.5 s
- Projectile Speed: 0.8
Upgrades the Dagger Can Roll
| Upgrade | Effect | Typical Roll | Notes |
| Projectile Count | More daggers per attack | +1 | Massively boosts hit frequency and on-hit procs |
| Projectile Bounces | Daggers chain between enemies | +1 | Improves crowd coverage; synergizes with Quantity |
| Damage | Higher base per hit | +2 | Multiplies well with global damage % |
| Duration (rare) | Stays active longer | +0.25 s | Helps reach next bounce before timing out |
| Projectile Speed | Faster travel | +0.1 | Improves target acquisition & chaining |
Patch Note: In v1.0.12 the developer added a max duration mechanism/fix so projectiles don’t overstay and clog caps. This effectively buffed many weapons whose shots could stall from excessive duration stacking.

Wireless Dagger is a reliable, auto-targeting DPS tool with base 9 damage and strong synergy with Quantity, Bounces, and on-hit effects. It’s Tony’s signature start and a great pick for progression and comfy clears; just don’t expect it to outpace the very top meta without the right support.
