🎯 Build Overview

Playstyle: a stable, semi‑AFK control archetype. Aura is your ever‑on damage ring; Aegis blocks spikes and emits shockwaves; Black Hole drags everything into your moat; a fourth weapon (Lightning Staff or Bananarang) polishes off waves. Start with Size, then Cooldown/Attack Speed, and finish with Quantity → Damage.

Playstyle

Stand‑your‑ground control • low inputs • reactive shielding

Difficulty

Low–Medium • positioning matters but build is forgiving

Power Spike

Early–Mid once Size + Cooldown are stacked

Best For

Long waves, marathon farming, casual runs

⚔️ Core & Supporting Weapons

Keep to 3–4 total weapons to avoid upgrade dilution

Aura

Aura

CORE

Permanent ring damage. Scales absurdly with Size, which increases coverage and tick count on pulled mobs.

Aegis

Aegis

CORE

Blocks hits and retaliates with shockwaves. Converts mistakes into AoE damage and buys time to greed tomes.

Black Hole

Black Hole

CONTROL

Continuous grouping that feeds enemies into your Aura/Aegis field. Scales hard with Size.

Lightning Staff

Lightning Staff (or Bananarang)

CLEAR

Pick Lightning Staff for chain clearing; choose Bananarang if you want controllable sweeps. Either cleans up what the moat collects.

📚 Tome Priority

Order: Size ▶ Cooldown/Attack Speed ▶ Quantity ▶ Damage (Speed/Cooldown first for safety and uptime)

Size Tome

Size

#1

Area/coverage is the best multiplier for Aura & Black Hole, and makes Aegis shocks hit more.

Cooldown Tome

Cooldown (or Attack Speed)

#2

Universal uptime for every weapon. If an Attack Speed equivalent exists, treat it the same priority.

Quantity Tome

Quantity

#3

More instances = more pulls/ticks. Add after Size/Speed are online to avoid dilution.

Damage Tome

Damage

#4

Finishers once your control engine is stable.

📈 Upgrade Path Timeline

Use this minute‑by‑minute plan (high‑rarity picks can preempt)

0–3 min

Stabilize & Go Online

Secure Aura or Aegis first (either start is fine). Take Size at every opportunity. Add Battery or Golden Shield for safety.

3–6 min

Control Field

Add Black Hole and start stacking Cooldown. If offered, pick your cleaner (Lightning Staff or Bananarang).

6–10 min

Coverage & Uptime

Begin Quantity; keep weapons to 3–4 total. Slot Sucky Magnet so you don’t have to chase orbs.

10–15 min

Spike

Moat should be crushing. Add Damage to finish elites and bosses faster.

15+ min

Comfort Scaling

Cap remaining tomes. Add extra mobility/sustain pieces as desired and enjoy the semi‑AFK cruise.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Rushing Quantity

Add after Size/Cooldown so you don’t slow your breakpoints.

Too many weapons

3–4 total is ideal. Over‑picking dilutes upgrades and delays your moat.

Skipping pickup radius

Without Sucky Magnet, you’ll starve XP while standing your ground.

🧠 Why This Works

Aegis blocks and retaliates; Aura and Black Hole scale dramatically with Size; global Cooldown/Attack Speed multiplies all sources. Together they form a bunker that controls space while passively dealing damage.
