Megachad
Aura gives immediate close-range coverage and Flex adds defensive value. Prioritize pickup range first, then damage uptime and one reliable survival layer.
Megachad Guide →Reach the Final Swarm on Forest Tier 1 while the Challenge disables movement and jumping. You may still aim, let weapons attack, and choose upgrades; the real test is building damage, pickup range and survival without repositioning.
Select AFK Gaming on Forest Tier 1, start the run, and survive until the Final Swarm. Movement and jump controls are disabled. You can rotate or aim with the mouse, use menus, select upgrades and let weapons attack automatically.
The objective is reaching the Final Swarm. Do not plan around finding or entering the boss portal because you cannot route across the map.
The in-game rule is “No moving or jumping allowed.” AFK does not mean you must stop touching every input; it means your character cannot use movement or jump controls.
| Action | Allowed? | How it is treated |
|---|---|---|
| Move with WASD / stick | No | The Challenge disables normal movement. Do not build a route around walking to XP, chests, Shrines or a portal. |
| Jump | No | Jumping is disabled with movement. Airborne or terrain-routing plans do not apply. |
| Rotate or aim with mouse | Yes | You can turn the character and aim directional weapons. This does not move the character. |
| Automatic weapon attacks | Yes | Weapons attack normally. Aura, Aegis and other low-aim coverage are popular because they work without repositioning. |
| Select level-up rewards | Yes | Menus and reward choices remain usable. “AFK” is the Challenge name, not a requirement to avoid all interaction. |
| Collect nearby drops | Automatic only | Anything that reaches your pickup range can be collected. You cannot walk toward XP, chests, pots or Shrines. |
| Defeat a portal boss | Not required | The completion goal is reaching the Final Swarm, not clearing the portal encounter. |
You should still watch the early offers, aim when a directional weapon benefits, and make deliberate upgrade choices. The Challenge removes navigation, not decision-making.
Choose a character whose starting kit produces damage or defense without needing to chase enemies. These are challenge recommendations, not full general-purpose Build rankings.
Aura gives immediate close-range coverage and Flex adds defensive value. Prioritize pickup range first, then damage uptime and one reliable survival layer.
Megachad Guide →Aegis and Thorns reward enemies for reaching you. The route is safer once its defensive engine is online, but early XP access still determines whether it scales.
Athena Guide →Scythe supplies local coverage and Roberto can gain value without walking to every normal chest. Use him when you prefer wider circular damage over Aura's starting pattern.
Roberto Guide →This is the minimum decision order needed to pass the Challenge. For a full low-input build with weapon alternatives and long-run scaling, use the separate Semi-AFK Build page.
Attraction Tome is the cleanest early answer. Without pickup range, nearby kills do not translate into enough levels.
Aura and Aegis work without navigation. Add Cooldown or Attack Speed only when it improves the weapons actually carrying the run.
Shield, Armor, recovery or a compatible defensive weapon keeps one bad wave from ending the run. Do not split early upgrades across too many weak options.
Stay on this page: rules, allowed inputs, character choice, early priority and pass/fail troubleshooting.
Use the dedicated Aura + Aegis page. It covers weapon slots, Tome order, Items, substitutions and long-run scaling where occasional repositioning is allowed.
Open the Aura + Aegis Semi-AFK Build →Pickup range arrived too late or kills happen outside collection range. Prioritize Attraction Tome and avoid expanding the kill radius far beyond your collection radius too early.
Your early offers were spread across too many weapons or utility stats. Concentrate upgrades into one coverage weapon plus one defensive layer.
Rotate and aim with the mouse. Aiming is allowed; only movement and jumping are disabled.
The Challenge ends at the Final Swarm. You do not need to move to the portal or kill the portal boss.
If the opening levels provide neither pickup range nor enough local damage, restarting early saves more time than watching an under-leveled run collapse.
A wall can reduce approach angles, but cliffs and edges can also drop enemies onto you. Prefer a clear starting area over a gimmick that depends on enemy pathing.

Reach the Final Swarm on Forest Tier 1 with AFK Gaming active. The listed objective does not require finding the portal or defeating a portal boss.
Yes. You can rotate and aim with the mouse, and you can select level-up choices or other menu options. Movement and jumping are the restricted controls.
Yes. Automatic attacks continue normally, and aim-dependent weapons can still be directed with the mouse. Passive or wide-coverage weapons are simply easier to manage while stationary.
It is not part of the Challenge rule, but pickup range is usually the most important early requirement because you cannot walk to XP. An equivalent source of reliable collection range can fill the same role.
No. It is a reliable low-input core, not a mandatory combination. The winning requirements are enough nearby damage, enough XP collection and enough survival to reach the Final Swarm.
No. Semi-AFK Build guides assume you may reposition for drops, chests or bosses. AFK Gaming disables those movement choices, so the early upgrade plan must work from the starting position.
