This page explains evidence rules and what verified status means. For the official Steam distinction and current submission destination, use
Official Status & Submit. Megabonk.org uses the independent Leaderboard.gg community dataset because it exposes reviewed runs, video links and complete build data.
🔍What “Verified” Means Here
ℹ️Mirrored review status
A verified record is an approved record present in the Leaderboard.gg dataset. Megabonk.org mirrors that source status; it does not independently approve, reject or remove runs.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|
| Review status | Approved in the synchronized source dataset. |
| Submission time | The source-created or source-updated timestamp when the board supplies one. |
| firstSeenAt | The first successful Megabonk.org synchronization that observed the record. |
| lastSeenAt | The most recent successful synchronization that still observed the record. |
🛡️Video Evidence and Prohibited Changes
- Show the complete run and a clear final score screen.
- Keep the submitted video accessible for community review.
- Use the patch currently accepted by the board.
- Do not use gameplay-changing mods, hacking or exploits.
- Do not submit edited footage that hides or changes run evidence.

✅Stable publication
A source failure does not invent new rankings. The last known-good snapshot remains available and is labeled as cached when used.
⚠️Appeals and Unusual Records
Check the linked run video when a score, build or timestamp looks unusual. Megabonk.org cannot change the source review decision. Use Official Status & Submit to find the current submission, contact or appeal destination.
